Purezza Premium Water, Waterlogic’s premium hospitality brand, was chosen as a finalist at the recent Zenith Global Water Drinks Awards 2021 in the category of ‘Best CSR Initiative’ (Corporate Social Responsibility) for its P2 Firewall™ Bar – Classe Series water dispenser.

The “Best CSR Initiative” category invited entrants to demonstrate how an organisational initiative was socially, community and environmentally focused.

The P2 FW Bar – C Series was the obvious choice to submit for the category. It is the first stainless-steel hospitality range that we manufacture and up to 60% of the composition of stainless steel originates from recycled scrap metal. Stainless steel itself boasts hygienic qualities and has minimal impact on the environment compared to other metals, requiring less energy to make it and producing less toxic run-off in the production process. As well as being 100% recyclable, non-toxic and non-hazardous, stainless steel requires less moulds during production, reducing our carbon footprint even further.

Further, our plastics are 100% Bisphenol A (BPA) free and do not contain any chemicals that are harmful to humans or the environment. None of the paints we use contain cadmium or other dangerous additives, and all the materials used in our products are certified RoHS compliant.

When paired with our bespoke Purezza-branded reusable bottles, the Classe Series dispenser helps our customers contribute to our objective to remove 30 million single-use bottles from the hospitality supply chain globally each year.

The Classe Series dispenser, whilst ultimately not taking the top prize, was the highest placing water dispenser, with all other finalists being consumable products, something which demonstrates Waterlogic’s sustainability credentials as a leader in our industry.
